COMPOSITION:
Contains Per gram powder:Oxytetracycline Hydrochloride 200mg

DESCRIPTION:
Oxytetracycline belongs to the group of tetracyclines and acts bacteriostatic against many Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria like Bordetella,Campylobacter ,Chlamydia,E.coli,Haemophilus,Mycoplasma,Pasteurella,Rickettsia,Salmonella,Staphylococcus and Streptococcus app.The action of Oxytetracycline is based on inhibition of bacterial protein synthesis.Oxytetracycline is mainly excreted in urine,for a small part in bile and in lactating animals in milk.

INDICATIONS:
Astrointestinal and respiratory infections caused by Oxytetracycline sensitive bacteria,like Bordetella,Campylobacter,Chlamydia,E.coli,Haemophilus,Mycoplasma,Pasteurella,Rickettsia,Salmonella,Staphylococcus and Streptococcus app.,in calves,goats,poultry,sheep and swine.

DOSAGE:
For oral administration.Calves.goats and sheep:For prevention: Twice daily 1.0 gram per 10 kg body weight for 3-5 days.For treatment:Twice daily 2.0 grams per 10 kg body weight for 3-5 days.Poultry and swine:For treatment:50 grams per 50 liters drinking water for 3-5 days.

SIDE-EFFECTS:
Discoloration of teeth in young animals .
Hypersensitivity reactions.

WITHDRAWAL TIMES:
For meat:Calves,goats,sheep and swine:8 days.Poultry:6 days.

STORAGE:
Store in an airtight container,protected from light.If the substance is sterile,store in a sterile,airtight,tamper-proof container.

NOTES: For per-ruminant calves,lambs and kids only.
